Woodland Hills, California
Patient, in-home computer and Wi-Fi help for neighbors across the west Valley, from Encino to Calabasas.
Hi, I’m Thiago.
I live here in the Valley. When you call, you get me, not a dispatcher, and I’m the one who shows up at your door.
Call or text me (213) 537-6547Rather write it out? friendlytechneighbor@gmail.com
Tell me what’s going on in your own words. You don’t need to know the right terms for it, and there’s no charge for the phone call.
$99 for the first hour, travel included.
Most visits are one of these. If yours isn’t on the list, ask anyway.
Sound familiar?
Also: setting up a new computer or phone, video doorbells and smart speakers, recovering an account you’ve been locked out of, running network cable through the house, and sitting with you until you actually know how it works.
Staying safe
I finished UCLA Extension’s Cybersecurity Boot Camp in 2023. The part of it that matters most to you isn’t the technical side. It’s knowing exactly how the people targeting you work, and setting things up so they can’t get in.
If you already let someone remote into your computer, or gave out a gift card number or a code from a text, call me. It happens to careful people and it is fixable. It’s just much easier to fix today than next month.
Pricing
That covers the visit and the first full hour of work. Most everyday problems are finished inside it.
Half an hour is $42.50. I tell you before the clock goes past the first hour, so nothing on the invoice is a surprise.
Card, tap-to-pay, or check. You get a receipt by email and a written service agreement before any work starts.
How it works
Describe the problem however it makes sense to you. You don’t need the right words for it.
We pick a time that works. Weekends are usually easiest. I’ll confirm the day before.
In plain English, at whatever pace you want. You pay when the work is done, not before.
About me
I’m Thiago. I live and work here in the Valley, and I’ve spent my whole career helping people who don’t enjoy dealing with technology.
I was at Best Buy for three and a half years. I started on the sales floor, ran the Apple section and then the Microsoft section, and finished as a customer service supervisor. That last job is the one that shaped how I work. My whole day was people who were frustrated with something, and my job was to make sure they left feeling looked after.
Since 2022 I’ve handled the computers, network, and smart home systems for a private client here in Los Angeles. One person, whatever they need, done properly.
Taking care of the people I work for is the point of the job, not a bonus on top of it.
So I don’t talk down to anyone, and I don’t sell you things you don’t need. If a repair isn’t worth the money, I’ll tell you that instead.
Where I go
Just outside the list? Call anyway. I’ll tell you straight whether I can get there.
